VT Agency of Agriculture releases new resource page for farmers impacted by flooding

This week, historic floods have damaged many farms across the state of Vermont. To help impacted farmers, the Agency of Agriculture Food and Markets created a new resource page on their website. It contains information about reporting crop losses and field damage. There’s also specific information for produce growers, dairy operations, meat and poultry processors. There are also resources for recovery funding opportunities. Anson Tebbetts, the state secretary of agriculture, food, and markets, said Vermont is looking at millions of dollars in damages.
