Junior Truthful to have fun Chino’s agricultural roots | Information

Awards are presented and the animals are auctioned off to buyers. Proceeds go to the students.

Chino Junior Fair Committee Chairperson Monique Aguerre visited the Junior Fair with her grandfather before she could walk, and later became involved in the Future Farmers Association.

She said the fair remains important in Chino as a way to honor its roots in agriculture and support the next generation of adults.

Small Animal Master Showmanship will begin following the rabbit and cavy show.

Fair Social hosted by Monte Vista 4-H at the conclusion of the goat show.

Fair Social hosted by Don Lugo Future Farmers Association will take place after the beef show.

Adult Master Showmanship, 6 p.m.

Fair Social hosted by Mt. San Antonio College will take place after the dairy show.

Junior 4-H Round Robin, 9 a.m.

Large Animal Master Showmanship, 10 a.m.

Master Showmanship and Clean Barn Awards in show ring, 5 p.m.

An awards ceremony and barbecue dinner will be held at 6 p.m. at Brinderson Hall located on the fairgrounds.

Tickets for the dinner are $8 for adults and $5 for children, and can be purchased at John’s Kitchen on the Fairgrounds campus. An auction will begin at 7 p.m. for the animals exhibited at the event. Buyers must register before the auction begins.
