“The Growing Season,” written by Frey, recounts her experience making her family’s failing farm into the popular national brand it is today. She also belongs to FMI, The Food Industry Association’s Fresh Food Leadership Council.

Frey stated, “I am forward to collaborate with Congressman Thompson and my Council colleagues to help update, enhance, and streamline US agricultural agriculture policy.”As we work to feed more than 336 million Americans by providing them with healthy, nourishing, delectable, sustainable, and cheap produce, I will offer my own expertise and experience to the Council while also sharing the experiences, difficulties, and opportunities of my fellow farmers. We will act honorably for America, its farms and farmers, and the millions of working families across the country, from the heel of Missouri to Capitol Hill.
